    Let’s look at the Algorand NFT scene from a high level

    in this dashboard we look at the Algorand NFT scene from a high level and try to answer the questions below.

    • How many wallets(distinct) currently hold an NFT?

    • How many wallets(distinct) have created an NFT?(Tip: Look at the creator Address on the asset)

    • Create a distribution of the number of NFTs held per wallet for wallets that hold at least 1 NFT.

    • What’s the average amount of ALGOs NFT holders have, is this more or less than non NFT holders?

    • How many active wallets/what percent of wallets hold at least 1 NFT?

    • Do we see new wallets joining algorand and buying NFTs or is it mostly older wallets buying/holding NFTs?

    • How many total, non-closed NFTs are on the algorand network? Show their creation over time using asset created_at.

    • How many NFTs use the ARC3 vs ARC69 standard?

    the chart above shows the number of wallets and range. the range is a range for number of wallets that an NFT is shared among and number is the number of wallets that fall in this range for example 9390 wallets hold ten to a hundred NFTs.

    now let's look at the average amount of Algos that NFT holders have.

    we can see in the chart above that wallets that hold no NFT, have more Algos on average.

    next we look at active wallets that are holding at least one NFT.

    the chart above shows the number of wallets and number of active wallets and number of NFT owners and what percentage of all wallets are NFT owners and what percentage of active wallets are NFT owners.

    now let's see of new wallets that are joining algorand are buying any NFTs.

    since it depends on the reader what counts as new wallet and what doesn't, we have created different ranges of time and looked at the date of the NFT owners being created and have placed them in the defined ranges. in the chart above you can see the result of such process. based on the chart above, we can see that a lot of the NFT owners are created in 2022. this tells us that most of the NFT owners are in fact new wallets.

    now let's look at the closed and open NFTs and the their creation date.

    the chart above shows the number of NFTs created on each day and also shows us if these NFTs are currently closed or not. as you can see the majority of the NFTs are not closed and number of NFTs being created by day has been increasing mid 2021.

    now let's look at ARC3 and ARC60 NFTs.

    as we can see in the chart above, less than 8 percent of the NFTs belong to ARC3 and the rest belongs to ARC69.
