INTRODUCTION
An ERC20 token can be deposited and locked on L1 in exchange for the same amount of an equal token on L2 using the normal bridge functionality. Bridging a token is the process of exchanging one token for another, for as when depositing 100 USDC on L1 in return for 100 USDC on L2 or withdrawing 100 USDC from L2 in exchange for 100 USDC from L1. The standard bridge is utilized for ETH in addition to bridging tokens.

A rollup of optimism is optimism. Because transactions are only handled by a select few nodes as opposed to every node on the network, optimistic rollups may execute transactions for a lot less money than Ethereum Mainnet (also known as layer 1 or L1). Now the type of bridge and the users involved are also accounted for. Then the total amount, volume as well as total bridges involved are charted with time. Also, the different types of bridges along with the volume and the users are also calculated. Then finally, the total bridging users and the bridging transactions over time are also accounted for along with the total users and the transactions with the tokens.

The area graph here shows the users who are the involved in bridging transaction over time with the tokens.It is seen that the trend has been maintaining a similar trend in the recent days even though it is less in comparison with the highest.

The tokens and the the number of users associated in bridging of these tokens are charted here and it is seen that ETH has the highest number of the users when compared to other tokens while USDC holds the second place.
The tokens with most number of bridging transactions are charted here and it is also seen that ETH has the highest and USDC has the second. This directly shows the one to one relation between the users and the transactions and not that single or whales making more transactions.
The total bridges over time is charted here and it is seen that the at the very end the seems an increasing trend of the total bridging event while in the beginning of the month of October faced the lowest in the chosen time frame.
The volume of the bridging transactions is shown here and the usual trend of hikes and drops is seen it also helps to make a balance in the cumulative volume rather than just an increasing trend.
The total amount of the bridging over time is accounted for here and it is seen that the same trend of volume is seen here.
Among the different types of the bridges in the optimism, it is seen that total volume, users as well as bridging events is the highest of the standard bridge while hop bridge stands the second place and across bridge in the last position.
The total bridging users with the cumulative number of the same is charted with time and it is seen that the trend followed an increasing trend in the recent days but except that on October 10.
The count of the transactions over time is accounted here and it is seen that transactions also follows the similar trend as the users.
The total users and the transactions involved are accounted with the tokens and it is seen that ETH has the highest number of transactions and the Users involved.
