Sushi vs Uni on L2
This dashboard attempts to perform a crude comparison between Sushiswap and Uniswap platform especially on L2 networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism, polygon etc by taking into consideration the swaps and the swappers.
INTRODUCTION
Anyone in the globe may deposit funds into liquidity pools on Uniswap and then use them to exchange currencies for a modest charge. A token pair between two Ethereum-based currencies are represented by each pool. With a few minor modifications, SushiSwap is a fork, or duplicate, of Uniswap. The user interface is more gamified than Uniswap's platform and is based on a sushi menu.
In August 2020, the mysterious "chef" Nomi introduced SUSHI. Drama with Uniswap's developer Hayden Adams soon followed. Hayden was understandably upset that a copycat stole about a billion dollars in staked liquidity in the first few hours of operation.
They both function as decentralized automated market makers (AMMs) on the Ethereum blockchain. By accessing liquidity pools populated by other users who are engaged in the DeFi ecosystem, users of both sites can exchange currencies.
With the release of V3, Uniswap now offers concentrated liquidity holdings that may be represented by NFTs and kept in wallets for Ethereum exactly like ETH, UNI, and any other NFT. The fact that no legacy financial institution has ever succeeded in achieving concentrated liquidity makes Uniswap and DeFi some of the most innovative activities in the financial sector to date.

METHODOLOGY
Considering the comparison the idea here followed is very simple. Hence the detailed methodology is not necessary as we can take a look into the swappers, and the swaps over time of sushiswap and uniswap platforms in different networks such as Arbitrum, optimism, polygon etc. Hence, let us dive in…
NB: In order to avoid the normal trend, the comparison is made in a mixed way.
The swaps in the Arbitrum network are shown here and it is seen that the swaps are increasing in the recent days and Sushiswap has the higher than the uniswap.
The swappers in the Arbitrum over time with different platform are charted here and it is seen that Sushiswap has more users than the uniswap.
Top 10 swappers of Sushiswap in Polygon network is determined here.
Net outflow of the total swaps in the Ethereum over time with the sushiswap and the uniswap is charted here and it is seen that the trend over time is decreasing over time since so long and it is also seen that sushiswap has more outflow than uniswap.
Unique users in the Ethereum network as well as the total users are charted here and it is seen that the users are more in uniswap -v2 than the sushiswap.
Swappers in the polygon network is charted here and it is seen that Sushiswap has more in this too.
Swap transactions in the Polygon network is seen here and it is seen that the sushiswap has more than uniswap.
The number of the swappers over the chain in the uniswap network is charted here and it is seen that in recent days arbitrum has had more swappers but then more users are in optimism on the other days.
Uniswap swaps over different chains are charted here and it is seen that optimism has the highest swaps in the recent days.
The total pools, swaps as well as the swappers of the sushiswap of the arbitrum network is determined here .
The total swaps in the sushiswap over different chains are charted here and it is seen that polygon network has the highest swaps comparing all other L2 networks.
The swappers and the swaps in the arbitrum network are charted here and it is seen that sushiswap has a bit higher than the uniswap even though the ratio is almost 50:50.
The total swaps in the polygon network over time is charted here and it is seen that Sushiswap has the highest than uniswap in polygon network.
The average swap in the polygon network over time is seen and it is seen that sushiswap has more swaps in average than the uniswap.
The total swappers in all the L2 networks are charted here and it is seen that the Sushiswap in Arbirtrum has the highest .
The total swaps in the L2 networks in both sushiswap and the uniswap are charted here and it is seen here too that sushiswap- arbitrum has more swaps being done than others.
As arbitrum has more number than others, the total users is charted over time who are the users in Sushiswap platform
The trend of the users in the Optimism network is charted for here.
The same chart here shows the trend of the transactions in sushiswap platform in the polygon network.
