Data Collection

The data is collected from the crosschain.defi.ez_swaps table and has been wrangled to filter for only stablecoin swaps:

• Focuses only on USD stablecoins and categorised as the major stablecoins (USDC, USDT, DAI, etc.), or other stablecoins
• Contains either a stablecoin inflow (described as a sell) or a stablecoin outflow (described as a buy)
• Only account for swaps that have a recorded $USD value of under 250,000 to remove any outliers in the set, as there was an amount of rediculously large swaps in terms of $USD value
• Since we are looking at stablecoin swaps only, any null $USD values have been imputed with the value of the stablecoin swap amount 1:1

Metrics

• All volume metrics are measured in $USD
• Stablecoin Inflows and Outflows are referred to as Sells and Buys repectively for easier understanding

This dashboard examines the stablecoin trading activity on the Sushiswap platform, examining the inflows (sells) and outflows (buys) of the major stablecoins and others, as well as examining which blockchain that this activity takes place on as the Sushiswap platform is interacts with many chains.

This dashboard contains 4 different tabs. Other than the current tab:

The 'Stablecoin Activity' tab comprises monthly metrics of Sushiswap stablecoin swap inflows (sells) or stablecoin swap outflows (buys) categorised by each major stablecoin and others throughout Sushiswap's entire history.

The 'Activity by Chain' tab comprises monthly metrics of Sushiswap stablecoin swap inflows (sells) or stablecoin swap outflows (buys) categorised by each chain throughout Sushiswap's entire history.

The 'Past 3 Months' tab comprises weekly metrics of Sushiswap stablecoin swaps categorised by each chain in the past 3 months.

The objective of this analysis is to uncover the trends in stablecoin swap activity, buys and sells, specifically the trends of which stablecoins are being swapped in/out and on which chains are these swaps being conducted on.
