Introduction
In this post we are going to check on the ETH derivates from Rocketpool, Ankr and Lido and do some analysis on them and see what are the trend in the price volatility for these tokens (aETH, rETH and stETH).
after that we will look at the swap activity in these three staking providers and also we will se the swapping of these tokens in over time and we will compare it to each other as next. but first let’s know more about these three staking providers.
Average price per month
Here there is another chart that is showing the same result as above chart but per month this time.
as you can see in the chart, the highest price for all of these tokens are in the Nov 2021 that ETH was more than 4.4k as the highest one and the lowest price of them for this month was 4.2k for aETH.
also in overall you can see that after the beginning of 2021, price of these tokens had growth in over time since the Nov 2021 and after that it started to drop again. now, the price of these tokens are about 1.6k USD on average in this month.
Conclusion
So that was it for this post and we did checked on the ETH derivates from those three staking providers and we did analysis on them and we did some comparison on the price for each of their tokens and at then we did checked on the swapping and staking of these tokens in over time and in total and we realized that aETH (Ankr) have the lowest number and volume of staking and also it had the highest price difference in compare to the others.
Price of ETH and rETH
If you look at the right chart you can see the correlation between ETH and rETH that is belong to Rocketpool staking provider and as you can see in the most days these two line are almost in the same level and that means the price of ETH and rETH was always the same almost and whenever the price of ETH did increased, the price of rETH increased too just like the ETH. the highest price difference between them happened in 5th Apr that ETH was 3.6k and rETH was 3.5k almost.

And here you can see the same result but this time for stETH that is belong to Lido staking provider and if we look at the chart we can see these prices are more close to each other than what we saw in the previous chart.
we can say that the highest difference between them was in 18th Jun that ETH was almost 1k USD and stETH was about 950k USD in that day.

And for the last token that we want to check on, in the right chart we have the comparison of ETH and aETH that is belong to Ankr and if you look at the chart you can easily find out that these two tokens have the highest difference in compare to the previous tokens.
the highest difference of them was in 15th Mar that ETH had 2.57k USD price and aETH had 2.15k USD price.

and now as you can see in the above charts, the highest number of swaps for aETH happened in the 14th Jun with only 30 swaps in that day and also the number below that chart is showing that only 1260 swaps happened for aETH until now.

And for the right chart of it you can see the volume of these swaps in the same period and as you can see, the highest swapped volume happened in 1st Feb 980 total volume of aETH swaps in that day and in the number below it you can see there is 18k total swap volume so far.

and now as you can see in the above charts, the highest number of swaps for stETH happened in the 13th Jun with almost 750 total swaps in that day and also the number below that chart is showing that more than 36k total swaps happened for stETH until now.

And for the right chart of it you can see the volume of these swaps in the same period and as you can see, the highest swapped volume happened in 12th May with almost 180k total volume of stETH swaps in that day and in the number below it you can see there is more than 2.8M total swap volume so far.

As you saw in the first chart, the highest number of swaps happened in the 27th Aug 2022 with almost 680 total swaps in that day and also the number below that chart is showing that about 8.4k total swaps happened for rETH until now.

And for the right chart of it you can see the volume of these swaps in the same period and as you can see, the highest swapped volume happened in 20th Jul with more than 81k total volume of rETH swaps in that day and in the number below it you can see there is more than 187k total swap volume so far.
Ankr staking analysis
And as the last one, in the chart above you can see the total number of stake transactions that happened in Ankr (aETH). as you can see, these number are very lower than what we saw in the other charts and the highest number of stakes happened in 18th Jan 2022 with only 6 stakes.

As expected, we have the same result for the volume of these stakes and in the above chart you can see that the volume of these stakes are lower than the others and for the highest day, in 18th Jan 2022 there are more than 4.1k staking volume for that day.
Rocketpool staking analysis
In the above chart, you can see the total number of stake transactions that happened in Rocketpool so far and the highest number of these transactions happened in 27th Aug 2022 with more than 100 total stakes in that day that it was a one day huge growth for these staking provider.

And here you can see the volume of staking transactions in Rocketpool in the same period and as you can see, the highest volume of these transactions belongs to 3rd Feb 2022 with more than 3k total volume of staking in that day. now let’s know about the other staking providers in the next.
Lido staking analysis
In the above chart, you can see the total number of stake transactions that happened in Lido so far and the highest number of these transactions happened in 11th Feb 2022 with more than 2.8k total stakes in that day that it was a one day huge growth for these staking provider.

And here you can see the volume of staking transactions in Lido in the same period and as you can see, the highest volume of these transactions belongs to 12th Jul 2022 with more than 825k total volume of staking in that day that have huge difference in compare to the Rocketpool’s staking volume.

Now let’s go to the analysis. here in the right side you can see a chart that is showing the average price of ETH token and also those three tokens that i mention earlier in over time and in the next we will check on the correlation of each of them with the price of ETH in over time to see which of them have the direct relation with the ETH token and the results better.
Swapping Analyzing
Now that we have looked at the correlation and difference between the prices of these tokens for different staking providers, let’s do some analysis on the swaps of each of these tokens in over time and in total in the next. down here you can see the swap analysis of rETH swaps.
