A unique address in any events on Polygon is considered as an addresses appeared in a transactions

Using the criteria above, we can get data from flipside_prod_db.polygon.transactions and visualize it in the chart below

The number of unique daily transactions

The chart above depicts the number of unique addresses on Polygon since July 1, 2022. As can be seen, the number of unique addresses increased enormously on July 6 with an x5 growth from 40K in the previous day to 281K. In the following days, this number didn’t change much but also remain at a high number above 200K addresses per day.

The chart above depicts the number of daily transactions on Polygon since July 1, 2022. As can be seen, the number of daily transactions increased enormously on July 6 with an x20 growth from 141K in the previous day to 2.73M. In the following days, this number didn’t change much but also remain at a high number above 2M transactions per day.

Conclusions

From the analysis above, we can conclude that Polygon is still attractive to users and continue to grow even in bear market.
