What is Near Protocol?

In this dashboard we will be looking at the Sweatcoin, which is an app that among the top used contracts in Near since its launch.

Methodology

We used only three tables in this dashboard

near.core.fact_transactions

near.core.ez_dex_swaps

ethereum.core.fact_hourly_token_prices to find Sweat token price.

Launch of Sweat : September 13 2022.

Some definitions :

• User growth = First transaction of users with Sweat protocol.
• Total Sweat Users = Any unique wallets sent transaction to token.sweat.
• First interaction =Found with first transaction sent by users, interaction is counted as tx_receiver.
• Top 5 Tokens Of NEAR+ Other= We used transactions to determine which protocols used.
• Dominance = Distribution of metrics among the labels like Sweat vs Others, we use this to find like what percentage of the transactions in Near goes through to Sweat.

Last 30 Days Transaction + User Metrics For Sweatcoin.

Findings

🔎 Currently Sweat have more users than entire Near protocol ecosystem , if we count it from the start of the September 2022.

🔎 On average more than %50 of the new users joining at Near interact with Sweat as their first transaction.

🔎 Currently no other project could compate with Sweat in terms of user attraction or user growth in Near protocol.

🔎 So we can say that after September most of the new Near users joined Near ecosystem because of the Sweat.

User Growth Of Sweat + New Users.

Findings

🔎 In last 30 days number of interactions with Sweat is mostly above 110k only peak we have seen was in Dec 12 in that day Sweat transactions reached 163k in a day also number of unique users interaction with Sweat reached 84k but what was the reason of this increases in December 12.

In December 9 Sweat launched its first governance vote this vote was about burning Sweat tokens to reduce supply or Using this tokens for other uses, end date of the vote was December 12 which we have seen a increase in the transactions + users.

Findings

🔎 With the launch of Sweat , number of new users made a peak with 151k in a day at September 14.

🔎 After the launch in September 13, we can see that number of new users has dropped sharply but still there are more than 5k users joining at Sweat in daily.

🔎 Sweat is getting closer to the 2M unique wallets, which currently have 1.99M wallets.

First Interaction Of Near Users.

Findings

🔎 Nearly %60 of the users interact with Sweat on a daily basis in Near.

🔎 Number of unique wallets using Sweat is always higher than other projects on Near.

🔎 In terms of transactions, Sweat is in another level but not like users, more than %30 of the transactions in Near protocol goes to the Sweat.

🔎 At max Sweat have seen a nearly %40 dominance in transactions.

Findings

🔎 If we look at the which protocols are used most in terms of transactions we can see a more clear view of the entire Near ecosystem.

🔎 Nearly %75 of the transactions in Near is distributed among the 5 protocols or contracts, two of them belongs to the sweat.

🔎 Currently only rival of Sweat is Aurora which was the old symbol or old king of Near ecosystem also when the transactions of Aurora increases Sweat sees a drop in its transactions ( Dec 16, Nov 30 ).

Sweat Swaps, Volume, Traders

Findings

🔎 Daily Sweat traders is on the decline since the launch of Sweat.

🔎 Number of swaps has decreased over time , espacially in december swaps have decreased significantly.

🔎 We have seen a increase in the swaps in November, which could be related to the fall of FTX exchange.

Findings

🔎 Volume of Sweat token in swaps surpassed 100k$ only once at November 21 since then we have seen a decrease in the volume of Sweat token.

• Since its launch Sweat is still number one contract of Near in terms of transactions + users.
• Majority of the new Near users interacts with Sweat in their first transaction.
• Most of the users in Near interacts with Sweat and this user number is higher than any other contract in Near combined but in terms of transactions , Sweat only occupies %30 of the transactions in Near.
• If we go deeper we can see %75 of the transactions in Near goes to the top 5 contracts, which 1. Sweat 2. Aurora 3. Nearcrowd. 4. Switchboard. 5. Sweat lockup.
• So Sweat is currently front face of the entire Near ecosystem its transaction numbers or new users have dropped but still its in the top of the entire Near ecosystem, its only rival is currently Aurora which they fight in terms of Transactions.
