🔎 Methodology

In this Article our main goal is to anlyze Dimension X activity such as user activity and NFT stats; to reach these purposes we are going to use these tables from Flipside Database :

flow.core.fact_events to find transcations in more detail and track the Dimension X user activity

flow.core.fact_transactions By using extracted tx-id, I joined fact_events data with this table to get more details such as time of the transaction and who made it

flow.core.ez_nft_sales to filter the NFT Activity by using 'nft_collection=A.e3ad6030cbaff1c2.DimensionX' this contract

flow.core.fact_hourly_prices to get $Flow price

Also note that all transctions are calculated from September 2022 and only transactions with 'SUCCEEDED' label are calculated

Moreover The price of NFTs based on the Dapper Utility Coin which equale to 1USD

Dimension X Overall NFT Activity

Insight

According to the metrics we had 1.3K buer since Dimension X realesed which make 1.9M USD in total by averaging 154USD

By looking at new user chart we can realize over 1K user interact with project on September but this rate dropped after first month sgnficantly which show lower interaction with project over

Also in cumulative chart we can't see any signficant swing which indicate that there isn't any successful hype by approching to 2023

In case of NFT price we can see in second week of September the price riched to 171USD from 65USD which means over 160% price increase per average NFT

Also it worth to note that average price of each NFT on third week of Novemeber riched to the highest amount which 312USD per NFT means 5 times bigger than first week of September; After November we can see the average price decreased and were stable in range of 150 - 170 USD

NFT Sales Activity

Insight

As we see from the charts during the launch of projects on September the ecosystem experienced highest amount of trading volume (Over 500K USD) and sold NFT which is over 4K NFT Sold

Also it worth to notice on September the Floor price of NFTs were on the lowest price compare to other months which show that majority of Buyers are prefer to entrance into the project when the floor price lower than averga which means below 97USD

As mentioned earlier the amount of buyers and also trading volume experienced some spike on 3rd week November which trading volume were 118K USD means 12.6 times bigger than average volume, also in these days the floor price of NFTs riched to the highest amount which is 165USD

Finally we can say when the floor price of NFT were to higher or lower than average the amount of volume and trading increased and ecosystem experienced some big spikes

NFT Buyer Activity

Insight

According to data we can seperate NFT purchase into 3 category which distributed equaily but we should notice that most of users (Almost 30%) rather to buy just 1 Nft and also more than 1050 addresses buy lower than 10 NFTs which prove there is a diverse range of buying behaviors among users

On the volume side we can see the majority of users are spent lower than 1k USD which mad up over 75% of Buyers which indicate that most of users cautious

Also we should note that when NFT purchased amount has been increased the amount of buyer were decreasing which prove that some buyers had bigger share in case of NFT volume and holding

Insight

As mentioned earlier some Wallets are holding more NFTs and also biiger volume

In this case 0x7048edde593b978e had the most amount of sale transctions

Also in left chart we can see 0xe7c873285b48fed5 had the most amount of Sale Volume which 131K USD means 7% of total volume

Dimension X vs Genopets Comparison

Insight

According to the data the amount of average transactions on Dimesion X were 3 times bigger than genopets which show that user in Dimension X are more interacted to deploy transaction than Genopets; Also we can see this scenario in case of daily transactions which 68% more than genopets ecosystem

Despite of transactions; in case of daily active users the amount of addreses on genopets almost 3times bigger than Dimension X

Also we can see genopets have more tha 10K user; as mentioned earlier Dimesion X didn't very seccsesful in attracting user and we can see user just had most entrance in first month of realsing project

Insight

We can see In case of transactions the amount of trasncations in all weeks on Dimension X were more than Genopets

Also according to the cumulative chart the sharpness of Dimension X were more than Genopets which prove that user are more greedy to interact with ecosystem compare to genopets and higher growth rate on ecoystem

On the other hand we can realize that the amount of active user on Genopets were more than Dimension in all weeks

Finally we can say Dimension X have samller user base but on the other hand it have very more active users than Genopets indiacte that higher volume of transactions compared to Genopets

Conclusion

According to the metrics :

We realize that large amount of users were joined the Dimension X in September but on the other hand this trend has been dropped signficantly after September which show lower interaction over time

It's worth to notice that the amount of transactions and also trading volume on Dimension X were signficant compare to other projects like Genopets

Also average user trasncations and user activity over time indicate that the majority of users are engaged in the platform

Furthermore as we see the September was a critical month for Dimension X; in this time period the project experinced highest trading volume and also User entrance but over time there rates decreased which can be negative factor for project

In Overall Dimension X had great startup and still have high user activity but in case of attracting new users to the project had Poor performance
