Which 10 wallets are the most successful Cryptopunk traders? Successful could either mean the wallet has accumulated a large balance from sales or has accumulated a large number of Punks. Explain your methodology and findings.

Introduction

In this analytics i went through CryptoPunks NFT collection and analyzed some metrics from it like:

Daily Buyers and Sellers
Top 10 Traders by USD Volume
Top 10 Traders by Number of Transactions
Top 10 Traders by Porfit USD
Top 10 Traders by Profit ETH

All the data that i analyzed are from June 2017 when this collection has launched

What is CryptoPunks?

CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on the Ethereum blockchain. The project was launched in June 2017 by the Larva Labs studio, a two-person team consisting of Canadian software developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson. The experimental project was inspired by the London punk scenes, the cyberpunk movement, and electronic music artists Daft Punk. The crypto art blockchain project was an inspiration for the ERC-721 standard for NFTs and the modern crypto art movement, which has since become a part of the cryptocurrency and decentralized finance ecosystems on multiple blockchains.

Methodology

For this analytics i used Ethereum tables from flipside data. I used ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales table to analyze all the data that you are going to see in this dashboard.

Also I filtered Cryptopunks data in that table with : nft_address in ('0xb47e3cd837ddf8e4c57f05d70ab865de6e193bbb','0xb7f7f6c52f2e2fdb1963eab30438024864c313f6') the first contract address is for CryptoPunks and the second address is for WrappedPunks. Also i Filtered the main contract with : seller_address != '0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000' .

Daily Buyers and Sellers

After Jan 2021 CryptoPunks slowly started to get more popular and number of buyers and sellers rised

CryptoPunks had their highest number of buyers and sellers in Aug 2021 and that month was so good for them

After Aug 2021 the number of buyers and sellers dropped and i think it was because of the bearish market

Top 10 Traders by USD Volume

The biggest trader of this collection by USD volume is 0xef764bac8a438e7e498c2e5fccf0f174c3e3f8db with a massive volume (536M $ )
All of the Top 10 traders of this collection have over 25M Volume in USD and its not a small number for volume
The first trader is forming 51.3% with the 9 other traders and has a bigger volume comparing to all of them

Top 10 Traders by Number of Transactions

0x1919db36ca2fa2e15f9000fd9cdc2edcf863e685 is the biggest trader by number of transactions(1082)
except the first trader the other traders have pretty much the same number of transactions
These transactions could be sale,buy,redeem and etc

Top 10 Traders by Profit in USD and ETH

The most profitable trader by USD is 0x6639c089adfba8bb9968da643c6be208a70d6daa with almost 50M$ and by ETH is 0x899241b0c41051313ce36271a7e13d54c94877a1 with 52K ETH
The biggest trader by eth made so much more profit than the other top 10 traders and forming 42% from the top 10
The top 10 traders by profit in USD have almost the same profit comparing to each other

The biggest trader by number of transactions made 1082 transactions on CryptoPunks
One trader made almost 50M profit in USD and one trader made almost 52K profit in ETH tokens
