Introduction

In this dashboard i went through overtime markets that built on thales and explore some data and activity from it like:

• Total and Daily Overtime Markets Volume in USD
• Games with most Activity both in total users and total volume in USD
• Games Daily Volume in USD
• Top Sports that are receiving the most bets in USD volume

I analyzed all the above parts for the past 2 weeks

What is Overtime Markets?

Overtime is a Sports AMM (Automated Market Maker). Users can "position" on the outcome of sports matches and cash out any winnings ALL ON-CHAIN. No central bookie or house involved.

Methodology

For this bounty i analyze some metrics for overtime markets using flipside data in the last 2 weeks.

I used Optimism tables to gather the data that i need.

First i checked the transaction example that was in the question description and found the required contract address : 0x170a5714112daEfF20E798B6e92e25B86Ea603C1 then i used this contract in optimism.core.fact_token_transfers table and gathered the needed data.

For the last part i mean for analyzing sports i couldnt gather data from flipside tables so i used footprint and bring some information from it in JSON and parse it into flipside query.

Total and Daily Overtime Markets Volume in USD for the past 2 weeks

• August 14th had the highest volume than other days in the past 2 weeks with 621K volume in USD
• The lowest volume was for August 8th with only 4.6k volume in USD
• last week wasnt very good for overtime markets and didnt record that much volume
• The volume smoothly rised since August 9th until Aug 14th and the Aug 14th was the highest volume as i said above but volume suddenly dropped like 600k in the next day of Aug 14th(August 15th)

Overtime Markets had almost 2M Volume from 2 weeks ago until now

Games with most Activity both in total users and total volume in USD

• I used optimism.core.fact_token_transfers table and joined it into optimism.core.dim_labels table to find the games contracts
• these are the top 10 game contracts by volume in USD and number of users

I took the contracts to to see which contract is for what game and here is the result:

Sports That are receiving the most bets in total USD volume

• For this part i used an extended JSON data from footprint that i mentioned earlier in methodology

• Soccer is the popular sport in the most days
• MMA and Football didnt get much interaction in the past 2 weeks
• Soccer and Baseball had the most users
• August 21th had the highest number of users for all sports except MMA
• soccer and baseball had the highest volume for the past 2 weeks
• Aug 14th Overtime markets had the highest volume for sports
• Baseball had the highest total volume (121K)
• Users didnt interact that much with Football in the past 2 weeks
• Aug 13th and Aug 14th were good days for overtime markets

Conclusion

• Overtime markets is a place that built on thales and for placing bets on multiple sports games
• Aug 14th was a good day for Overtime Markets
• Baseball is the most popular sport in Overtime Markets
• MMA isnt that popular in Overtime Markets
• Manchester United LMAO
