Sorare is a digital, playables and collectibles platform where users can compete across futbol, NBA, and MLB in a fantasy sport setting. Build a dashboard that covers the Sorare project:

• Statistics on Sorare NFTs being sold on Opensea such as buyers, volume, number of NFTs etc
• Transfers and mints over time
• Statistics on contract events such as players and clubs added
• Provide additional insight into the players and clubs added in from the event inputs

What is Sorare?

Sorare taps into the world of fantasy sports leagues and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create a blockchain-based game.

The Sorare NFT collection features more than 280 soccer (football for those of you not in the U.S.) leagues and all 30 Major League Baseball teams. You’ll find baseball and soccer superstars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. These NFTs are also available on the OpenSea marketplace.

You can think of Sorare as essentially a fantasy sports card game that allows you to win prizes that you can exchange for money. As with any trading card game, the rarer the card, the higher the price. Continually participating in the game can reward you with better cards you can sell or use for more challenging tournaments.

Method⚡

In this dashboard, i am going to explore Sorare platform and its NFTs stats over time. I extracted the data that i needed from ==Ethereum.core== database provided by Flipsidecrypto and used ==“ethereum.core.ez_nft_mint”== (for mints data), ==“ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales”== (for secondary sales data) and ==“ethereum.core.ez_nft_transfers”== (for transfers data) tables.

I filtered Sorare data with its contract address: ==“0x629a673a8242c2ac4b7b8c5d8735fbeac21a6205”== .

The data and charts are over time and i didnt used any specific timeframe for them.

This analysis made on ==2022-11-22.==

1. Mint Stats

Findings👀

• In this section, i showed Sorare total and over time Mint stats that launched on May 11th 2020.
• As we see, after the start of 2021, this project got more popular and experienced a hype in early 2021.
• Most of the minting activity of sorare were happened on March 2021 with almost 55K minted tokens by 9.94K minters and over 1800 mints in total.
• From a general point of view, a total of 16.3K minters minted 336K tokens with over 14.15K number of mints over time. It is interesting that the total mint volume was 0.
• Sorare recorded its highest minting stats on March and April 2021 and after that it experienced a massive drop like almost 99% for all stats.

2. Sorare Secondary Sales Stats

Findings👀

• Here we see Sorare secondary sales stats (sales after minting duration) in overall and over time situations.
• Over 1K buyers and sellers together recorded over 1400 sales with a volume of 200K$.
• In this duration since Sorare launch, number of buyers were so much more than number of sellers, it means that users trust the project and they are not gonna sell their NFTs, so day by day more users are getting familiar with it and buying Sorare NFTs.
• The highest Sorare secondary sales activity happened on Aug 1st - Aug 8th.
• Sorare sales volume peaked three times unlike other sales stats that only peaked once on March 2021, August 2021 and February 2022.
• Over 99% of Sorare sales activity were on OpenSea and less than 1% of it were happened on rarible marketplace.
• 1420 of 1424 sales of sorare NFTs happened on OpenSea, also 199K$ of 200.8K$ sorare’s sales $volume happened on OpenSea too.
• Most of the buyers holds their NFTs between 1 month to 3 month (24.2%). As we see in the pie chart, mostly users would like to hold their NFTs for a long time and they believe their assets will get expensive in the near future.

Findings👀

• This section shows top 5 sellers and buyers in terms of number of sales and their sales $volume over time.
• ==“0x39c93703e6e9475955068eb596d297bdc71f5b33”== wallet address is the biggest seller in terms of both number of sales and $volume with a total of 390 sales and over 41K sales volume in USD.
• On the other hand ==“0x8b2b7db6db2aa1464cce942f158e6cd44d455a19”== wallet address is the biggest buyer in terms of number of sales and ==“0xcde68911d6aa8cb1dcf2ef013fcd1da9e17453a2”== wallet address is the biggest buyer in terms of $volume.

3. Tokens

Findings👀

• It seems that Arjen Robben (Dutch Forward) is the most popular on token between Sorare users. It is the most expensive token on Sorare platform and also it has the highest amount of trade $volume.
• Diego Maradona is in the second place of top 5 sorare tokens in terms of both number of sales and $ volume.
• 3 tokens together have the highest number of sales on sorare with 4 sales:
  • Marko Mihojević
  • Jean Onana
  • Kaoru Takayama

4. Transfers

Findings👀

• In this section i showed over time and overall sorare NFTs transfers stats.
• We see that Sorare transfer stats recorded an all-time high on Feb 22th with over 24K tokens and number of transfers generated by almost 7K senders and receivers together.
• In weekly growth chart, it seems like sorare transfer stats are doing very well and they are bullish at the end.
• At left, we have a bar chart that shows top 5 Sorare NFTs that recorded the most number of transfers over time, we see that Taiki Tamukai the Japanise Defender has so many more transfers than others in top 5 with a total of 75 number of transfers. It is interesting that each of the rest top 5 have 20 or 21 number of transfers. (Same number of transfers).

Conclusion💡

• Most of the minting activity of sorare were happened on March 2021 with almost 55K minted tokens by 9.94K minters and over 1800 mints in total.
